Kusadasi Kervansaray

Kusadasi became a part of the Ottoman territory in 1413 by Çelebi Mehmet I and the city of Kusadasi was therefore under Turkish Territory. This meant that Turkish Buildings were being constructed, one being the Caravanserail built by Mehmet Pasa in 1618. The Caravanserail now has multi usage with it being a hotel, being host to the best Turkish Night in town, as well as hand made carpets being sold inside. The Hotel has been furnished with the aim of preserving the typical characteristics of an Ottoman building- two floors, two entrances and a large courtyard. Turkish Nights are held during the summer months, which are suitable for everyone to watch. The night includes Turkish Dances, Belly Dances, Turkish music and international music. The Caravanserail provides a wealth of culture and history about Turkey itself, as well as being one of the most major landmarks within the city of Kusadasi.
